Luke started raising money for his project by doing a variety of handyman odd jobs. He mowed lawns for people, used online resources to raise funds, and recycled materials for a profit. Additionally, Luke also traded odd jobs for extra help with building. It is quite undeniable that this 13-year-old boy had to carefully plan every aspect of this project in order for it to be successful. Many times Luke had to re-plan ideas that just did not work the way he hoped.
