The gentleman’s cousin, called Kim, later spotted the brave snap. Several days in the future, Kim hired a babysitter to cover the weekend before venturing forth to the peak alongside a tight pal of hers, wishing to reenact her cousin’s iconic photo.
Following a 2.4-mile roundabout hike, the pair conveniently discovered the location, alternating between posing and taking snaps, oblivious to the fearsome discovery they would soon make. Some of the scariest pictures in history were taken by people casually minding their own business!

The Shining Clue Underneath
While absorbing the breathtaking sights at the pinnacle, the pair edged dangerously towards the ridge. All of a sudden, the sun struck a glinting object beneath. This wasn’t the coursing river underneath them within the gorge, as the point of interest was far nearer.
Hanging from a branch around three feet under them was a series of keys. They could only have spotted such a small object, so far away, thanks to the sun’s rays reflecting off the metal at the perfect angle.
