The only original cast member who is still alive is Max Baer Jr., who played Jethro Bodine. He still has the desire to realize: he wants to create show-themed casinos and eateries throughout Las Vegas. He currently holds sublicensing rights for both gaming machines and food goods!

In 1936, Buddy and Vilma Ebsen relocated to Los Angeles. The Broadway Melody musical, which received numerous award nominations, starred the siblings. Everyone was aware of Buddy’s potential as a star. His sister had a few more parts, but she later founded a dance business, had kids, and retired.
