Mustang was returned to the former glory it was known for when the Mustang GT was released in 1982. The Mustang that was released in 1981 featured a 4.2-L engine while the 1982 release had a 4.9-L V8 engine.

The 1962 GT had an amazing performance with a 0-60 time in around 7 seconds and came spitting out up to 157 horsepower. One of the best Mustang released in 1979 featured a “Fox body” and with this release, it was a major breakthrough for the Mustang series and was a starting point to what we now know as the modern-day muscle cars.
WORST: Ford Explorer (1991-2002)

Just like its big brother, the Ford Explorer did the same damage as it ended up killing more than 330 people, the same way the previous release did.

This second leg of the disaster from Ford came with lots of condemnation as Ford was lashed out at for not paying more attention to the safety of their vehicles. Ford ended up blaming Firestone tires for the fault the vehicles were facing and resorted to ending their 90-year relationship with the tire manufacturer. This decision by Ford was sided by Congress.
