They sure had a brilliant idea for their Christmas card, but the execution of the plan went downhill. Before this family began photoshopping their faces onto the cookies, the cookies themselves had to be made, which we must say seem less than ideal.

This Gingerbread family didn’t make the perfect cut! The cat and dog cookies must be the most bizarre and disturbing part of this scene. Maybe this idea would have been somewhat humorous if the family had actually stuck cutout pictures of their faces onto the cookies.

Whoever in this family thought it was best to get a spray tan on the day of the photoshoot should be placed on the naughty list. This mom sticks out like a sore thumb against her paler family members, with her face shining like Rudolph’s red nose.

Adding flair to your holiday cards is great, but when a leopard is attacking an antelope right before you…scary yet funny. While this is obviously a fake animal scene, it is no less disturbing, without a trace of any kind of Christmas cheer other than a random snowflake in the top right corner, barely daring to peek into this grizzly situation.

This family knows how to economize, and we may learn a thing or two from them. What’s the best guess with this photo? The family was trying to get both Christmas and the Easter holiday cards out of the way in one go!

And, who said advertising had to cost you a lot? Zoom in and check out the family business logo when you get the chance. The mother’s sultry expression and disturbingly black-colored bunny ears make us wonder if she was a fan of a certain gentleman’s magazine…

Where do we even begin with this one? As beautiful as this family’s combined voices surely are, their photoshop abilities leave much to be desired. Yes, photoshopping can be great, but when it comes alive in a picture, it is just too funny.

Lady Gaga knows how to make the most bizarre yet exciting fashion wear, and this family had their children wearing her bacon-themed outfit. While we get that Americans are crazy about bacon, the only time that it should appear on clothes is when a BLT is being messily eaten.

This card must have been one of the most exciting cards of the century. The gaudy, over-the-top Christmas outfits, the blurry city lights background, and the adorable little goat with a Santa hat on the woman’s lap.

Who said your card had to be all human? Well, this man decided he wanted to have his “friends and family” on the card. This seems to be an incredibly lonely man, whose perfectly symmetrical handlebar mustache is one sign that he is rather difficult to tolerate, even for his family.

Cats are not always fond of the camera, so when this cat became the highlight of a Christmas card, we knew he had given his dad the consent. Some would call this a real Christmas miracle.

Oh well, he must be everything this man wants in a family. Some people find a fantastic amount of companionship with cats, even if they are regarded as unfriendly by so many. Just getting the cat to focus on the camera must have been a true effort.

While many kids love the idea of sitting in Santa’s lap at the mall, one little fellow didn’t see the amusement. In fact, he ran away in terror from the jolly-looking elder dressed as what is supposed to elicit the happiest emotions in people.

There is a theory that cats and dogs don’t get along well, and this holiday card shows that. When times prove challenging to have your cat and dog sit steadily for a photo…nothing is wrong with letting their head float around.

The horror, the horror… Face swap is always a fun activity, but when it gets on the Christmas card, it leaves the opportunity for non-stop laughter, or terror.

If you ask us, this family needs to leave this feature for the social media world…a big no here lol! The dad seems miserable, and understandably so, given that he has once more been forced to participate in a disturbing experiment that is bound to go viral.

We always hear that Santa sees us while we sleep, but if this girl ever turns around, her name will be on the naughty list for being up past her bedtime. We cannot decide what the most terrifying part of this scene is, the old man instructing us to be quiet as he sneaks up on the little girl, or the little girl herself.

Some holiday cards always have a special moment where couples share their stories of engagement, baby bumps, or just married. Then you have the single sidekick who is open to joining the party anywhere without limitations.

This one is just demeaning. A father decided to show everyone who was in charge by forcing his family to take the subservient roles of enchanted reindeer. Speaking of, it seems Santa’s reindeer were tired or sick this year and had to think fast and improvise, but at least a replacement Rudolph was on hand to light the way.

We see this as a setup from one lady to get all the gifts from Santa, who is looking on with quiet disappointment. Little girls might look innocent, but many of them have all kinds of tricks up their sleeves, even if they might not understand their full gravity.

This photo makes most of us envy the life of Rudolph. He decided to retire and get himself some new female friends. He seems to have gone down a treat on this particular Christmas, or at least his taxidermied head did.

Well, where do we start with this one? A Cactus for a Christmas tree, a dad in a mini short, a mommy cheerleader, and a child…not sure! When even a hint of snow lies many miles away, you need to improvise.

By far, this may be the most real yet funniest holiday card photo we have seen. While parents will often scold their kids for being glued to their phones, these parents were self-aware enough to admit that they themselves have a problem.

This family learned it was a bad idea to snap this little guy right after he had his bottle of eggnog and cookies…he didn’t digest, maybe? His sad face shows the inevitability of the situation, as if despite his best efforts, he could not hold the vomit back.

We end this list with the most shocking Christmas card that we have seen to date. This couple is not trying to hide the struggle this year and this woman is no longer messing around. It seems that The Reeses have come to the point where only serious medication can help them.
